Things have been really crazy around here for the past few months. Scott's boss retired and Scott had been covering two areas alone when they are usually covered by two people. Also, he had a loader (the guy who loads the trucks in the evenings) quit, so he was working all day, coming home and taking a nap, then he was going back at night. I was working two jobs while sick trying to make it through. We barely saw each other and it was tough since we rely on each other so much. But anyway...
Scott applied for his bosses job and it was a pretty long drawn out process, but he got it. It will be a huge blessing to us. He will be on salary, which is great because he will have a consistent paycheck, where he used to be on salary plus commission so sometimes we would not know at all what he was going to bring home in a week. It is also a little bit of an increase in pay, so this really couldn't come at a better time. Plus he will get an extra week of vacation, which of course is a great perk. The only problem is Scott's insurance had to change because he went from being a union employee to a non-union employee. So we are waiting to fill out paperwork for that and find out what the coverage is exactly. It is a little frustrating waiting on that, but you do what you got to do. Things are really good overall. I quit my second job and Scott was able to hire a new loader, so we are able to be home together at night which hasn't been the case in quite a while. It has been nice. If only I felt good, then we could actually be doing something rather than laying around. Guess you can't have everything!

Hey, I know a place where the health insurance is free... just sayin'...
I'm glad you got to quit your second job, that would be so hard! Now you can spend time together.
And I already told you this but of course CONGRATULATIONS! :)
Congrats! If you have insurance questions, let me know!
