Save the Ta Ta's

Saturday I ran the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure in Salt Lake. It was a great experience. I almost didn't want to run it because I was doing it alone, but I really enjoyed it and was glad I did. There was an estimated 18,000 people who participated in either the 5k or the 1 mile run/walk. Which made it a little hard to get running with everyone so close together at the start. I was impressed that there were so many people out to the support the cause. This is the only race for a cause I have ever done, and I was thrilled that it was also the biggest race I have ever done. I didn't really care about my time, I just cared about participating, but my time wasn't bad either. Overall I have to applaud everyone who participated and say it was a great experience. I hope to participate again next year.
