C.S. Lewis

If you are a reader and have not read anything by C.S. Lewis, you should. I haven't read a lot by him, but as a child I loved the cartoon movie, "The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe". A few years ago someone(I don't recall who it was) bought me the entire collection of the Chronicles of Narnia. I read a couple of the books, and enjoyed them, but it was a time in my life I didn't think I had a lot of time for reading. Now that I have remembered how much I enjoy reading and I am constantly looking for a good book, I picked it back up to continue on. I love how there is always a deeper meaning to what he writes. You can read it for the shallow entertainment value, or you can get into the deeper thought and meaning behind it. It is one of those things that has the potential to make you really think about yourself and examine the kind of character you have. I have a few other books on my list for when I finish this one, but I definitely want to get more books by C.S. Lewis. He was a very profound writer.

I have probably read all of those books three times each. :) Screwtape Letters was also very good. There was one about Love too that I tried to read, but couldn't get into it.

Those are great books. You should also read Mere Christianity--its so good. He's an amazing author and really had a grasp on Christianity.
