Daddy's Day

I know this post is a little late, but I wanted to post it anyway. For Father's day, I got Scott a cute plaque that says, "A daddy is his daughter's first love." I saw the quote somewhere and had a work friend of mine make it for me. It turned out so cute. Scott decided to go to Mesquite and go golfing for a few days as well, so I gave him some money for that. I know, super sentimental right? It was what he wanted and he had a good time having some time away from the stress of work.
Scott is a great dad. He doesn't feel like Taylor knows him, but I have no doubt that she will. He is so good with kids, she will soon like him more than me. A few weeks ago, I was getting ready to go in the morning and I walked in our bedroom and Scott was dancing with Taylor to daddy daughter songs. It was so cute I tried not to cry. The following morning was Sunday, and I actually got a picture of it.

I'm sure she knows who her dad is and feels his love for her. Watching him with her makes me love him so much more. I am so grateful to have such an amazing husband and father for Taylor.
