Last Friday I was able to go to lunch with an old room mate from BYU-Idaho. I had not seen her for a few years and that is really sad because she only live in SLC. I had a really nice time visiting with her, and catching up on her life. It is always really nice to get in touch with old friends and see what they are up to and how life has changed for them. I always enjoy talking about other old friends that we used to know and what they are up to as well. It was a good time. We definitely need to do it more often!
I also went to a baby shower of an old friend from high school. I haven't seen her in a lot longer, but thought it might be fun to go and see how things were for her and everything. She looked so cute with her pregnant belly and she apparently got a lot of really great gifts. People kept saying how much she would love this or that, or how often she would use the gift. So, since I don't have experience as a mom, I will have to take all of their word for it...
