Friday night Grizzlies Hockey was Breast Cancer Awareness Night. I am a huge advocate for the fight against breast cancer, so of course I wanted to go.We went and we were so happy we did. It was a really awesome game. The Grizzlies wore pink jersey's and played on pink ice. I don't love the color pink, but it was really cool looking. They were playing the Ontario Reign. Ontario scored twice in the first period and the score stayed 2-0 until the last 3 minutes. Then the Grizzlies scored around 2:45 left. I was pretty sure they were still going to lose because they had just under 3 min to score again. They scored again with about 27 seconds to go.

They went in to over time and then into a shoot out and the Grizzlies won! It was awesome. We sat right behind the opposing team and it was really funny to listen to some of the die hard fans taunt the other team and yell at the coach. I also was
privileged to see a guy who had gotten hit in the junk get off the ice and reach down his pants to adjust. It was quite lovely. Anyway, we enjoyed the game so much we decided to go again the next night. That game was a little more intense and we sat right on the ice. They lost 6-5, but still lots of fun.
Hmm, Scott and I may have a new hobby!
